Chris Rock's Selective Outrage UNDERWHELMS - too long to get to the punch (Rapid Reaction)

Chris Rock was live on Netflix and waited too long to get to the Will Smith material. After a decent chunk about Meghan Markle, Chris had half an hour that underwhelmed, and the closer was strong but not strong enough to make up for the second half of the show.

My rapid reaction: it's the 3rd best special of 2023 so far (behind Nate Bargatze and Jim Jefferies) and seriously only barley edged out the Roast Of Mr. Peanut - and when we've waited a year for Rock to talk about Will Smith and I'm taking a minute to ponder if it's better than Mr. Peanut....that's an underwhelming special.

Could anything have lived up to the hype?
